It's beautiful. Every time I see it, a little doubt comes back between this and Aqua Terra.

The movement in these is spot on being the clone 8500

The new Aqua Terra have the clone 8900

This is the next one for me. The olive green.

Dont think you will be disappointed whichever way you go. ;)

The Seamaster 300 has clone 8400 if I'm not mistaken. But how reliable is movement like the 8900 clone? Anyway beautiful. I am undecided (I was about to buy the AT but I think I will wait a few weeks for the shipments to return to be quieter) because they are both beautiful. the AT is almost a super rep, although it is not more recent now, but could the Seamaster v2 be on the same level?

Your not mistaken

The Previous Aqua Terra's had the 8500 clone whereas the 2 new ones are 8900.
Not sure on reliability, but based on the other 8XXX clones, its probably a safe bet the 8900 is just as reliable.

But There is another thread for that discussion.

Great looking watch. Had my eye on this myself and was about to get the MKF version which is on sale at TT. But then I realised the horrendous spelling mistake “21 JEWETS” still hasn’t been corrected! They really should have fixed that. Anyway now looking for another version around the $300. If any suggestions then please do share.

Since my V6F Seamaster 300 (non spectre) dial has faded quite a lot and is no longer available I think I’ll move onto this VSF V2 Spectre 300 after seeing the amazing pictures in this thread!

Maybe safer not to expose movement serial, not a conspiracist myself, but who knows these days. Thanks for sharing the pic though.

Sorry to go back to this old thread... but what's the difference between VSF V1 and VSF V2?

V2 had a better dial texture I believe. More of a matte finish closer to gen.

What about the sa bracelet? Is it better than the V1? That was one of the main flaws of compared to the MKS

Thanks youfor your pictures! I am still hesitating, because of the 0-11 Bezel and the lollipop hand. If only there was still the equivalent Seamaster 300!

I’m the opposite! I’m thinking of picking up this and the gen SM300 — then swapping the bezels. I need the second tone zone function, but can’t justify spending $6k on the difference between SM300 and the Spectre! (If these movements were made a bit better and regulate to near COSC l, I wouldn’t bother buying new at all)!

Just want to know how to order (don't know what means "custom order' on TD' websites f. Ex.Trusty how to deal with it.
What is normal delivery time (I'm living in Denmark) what rigtigt after I get the watch,
have take it to some watch service rigtigt away to get it serviced regulated greased and so on or just use it.
how about the mech.
Is it OK and still ticking after one year usage?
I can imagine that questions can sound stupid for you but I'm new and have no idea how to start my adventure with reps.
love watches and have some gens but it's another league ????
20 years old Festina (is it not looks like a Bond ????(?)
16 years old Breitling superocean (this one is my favourite but little bit to small for my taste now ????
and CERTINA with 7750 movement (15 years old)
Now want to try with something new.
Never had a rep and don't know what to expect and how to get one.
Please help
