VSF V2 Omega Spectre 300

Been away from reps for a few years now, decided to get back in to the hobby.

Second buy is the VSF V2 Spectre 300.
Bought from Putretime. Great service, really good communication and great QC photos.

Read a lot about the VSF dial but am pretty happy with it compared to the gen.

Gen:

Rep: It's not a dent between the 7 and 8. Just the lighting. Checked all the other QC photos and nothing there

The main thing I see is the fixed spacing between Omega and Seamaster on the dial.

Bezel is bi directional.
Watch is pretty dam good.
Only problem is Clasp divers extension. Mine is too lose and wont stay locked. Puretime are supplying a new one.

when I see these photos I again feel the doubt between aqua terra and seamaster 300. It seems to me very well done. Does the dial have the wrong finish? What are the defects of the watch and the differences compared to the gen? How reliable is the movement better or worse than that of Aqua Terra? P.S. what do you mean by problem "Clasp divers extension"? is there a risk that the clasp will open? Does Puretime send a replacement?

The bezel was always bi-directional. The only improvement is the texture of the dial.

you are right. I apologize The discussion is in relief yet I didn't see it. I read everything there. Maybe I only ask the user of this thread regarding his clasp what he meant.

Thanks youfor your pictures! I am still hesitating, because of the 0-11 Bezel and the lollipop hand. If only there was still the equivalent Seamaster 300!

The Clasp it self is very good. The Diver extension on mine won't stay locked position. When any pressure is applied it slips from locked to open.

I Ordered a V1 spectre back at the start of March I think.
It was the the 1st week when the dealers started working again after China lockdown.


Well I had quite a wait ahead of me....

1st packaged made it to the air transport and then disappeared for 3 weeks. It showed up again as 'returned security risk' or something, and ended up back where it started.
2nd time around and again it spent 2 week sat at Gaunzuan before it finally got on the transport.
Finally it arrived today over 2 months since i ordered.

Looked great but something about it made me wonder if this was the watch i had seen on the product page.
So i pull up the page and sure enough i spotted the differences.

No TM mark on the clasp
Bracelet is a different cut and shape.
Dial looked different, couldn't figure quite what it was apart from color seemed off from advertised pics.

Must say hadn't noticed anything at QC, but they were pretty vague QC pic's.

Took a few hours going through various versions from all factories, until i saw the V2 on another dealer's website showing it was released end of March.

Well, considering the time it spent going around in circles, I must have one of the 1st off the production line.

What can i say about this watch.....WOW
Such a cool look compared to the Diver 300.

It's beautiful. Every time I see it, a little doubt comes back between this and Aqua Terra.
