VS has the reputation in China of being a real hit or miss. "Open the box and get a surprise". Aka you can have some real duds. I've gotten lucky with some but some of my friends have really gotten awful VS examples (bezel too easy to turn, glidelock clasps being horrible)

I was reading yesterday about a couple of companies that came about from vsf and their reps were being passed off as vsf when they first split off. They all were buying parts from the same companies. TDs were replacing the counterfeit vsf’s and giving discounts to people who they sold them to. It’s a crooked game and everything isn’t what we’re told.

Looks like I have a similar issue With my VSF hulk. The quick set date setting seems stripped and doesn’t work. I can set the date through using the hour however, the quick date setting feels smooth when I try to use It.

my serial number is K25. Wondering if this issue is common for the K25 batch. Bought this in November 2023

I’ll likely either keep on a winder or just manually set the date when i wear it. So annoying. Lol

I have a K25 114046. It has the VS3130 with no ghost date position. I bought it in October last year M2M, originally sourced from Hont. Touch wood, I have not experienced any crown, stem or setting issues, and I wear and set it a lot.

I did read that, and it seems like a lot of folks suggest that quality improved after the raid for Rolex's.

My Starbucks has a 2r6 rehaut number and it’s nearly flawless. I don’t know where that batch fits in but everything about it is sweet.

Tap a square or triangular file into the tube remnant and use some pliers or vice grips as a handle to unscrew it. Obviously take the movement out first.

Never seen a stem like that, wtf. The watch does look like a VSF though, R25 serial and all. Guess I better go look at some of my VSF stems, smh.

I took the crown and stem out of my vsf 3130, I can get stem and crown back in but it won’t wind or change time. It’s still telling time, I just can’t change it or wind it. Can you help please?

What position was the stem in when you released it? For 31xx, a stem should be released in the time setting position. If it was not, you have probably fouled the keyless works. This would require resetting them which entails removing the hands, dial, and movement top plate. Then the keyless works need to be disassembled and reassembled (reset).
