I need to come up with a non fussy way to remove and adhere inserts....then I could have the blue and black insert whenever I want. @KJ2020 , and ideas?

Obviously don't want to have remove the bezel and compromise hyrtel ring every time.

Might be limited to just use a few pieces of double sided dial dots. But of course increases potential for the insert to fall out, ceramic can shatter from a fall. Then to remove the insert for a swap, 3M black double sided mounting tape, I use this often to stick and pull inserts out.

Anyone know if these inserts on VSF are pressure fit, glue, or adhesive rings?

I do this on occasion bro. I put 3 lengths of 3M double stick tape spanning 7-8 minute tics on the dial at 2, 6 and 10 oclock. It won't come off by itself if the application was clean and solid and it's not repeatedly exposed to water. Which leads to removal - use a soapy water solution on an artist's brush under a water stream (at 6 and 10) and it loosens up enough to get a thin pry tool under the insert at the crystal side. I start with plastic, like a collar stay and jab it into the tape strip while working it along the circle. You can even shorten the strip at 10 for example to only 4 minute tics to make removal easier.

Ofc this all hinges on the insert not being press fit, which to date VSF's are. So this may all be a moot point except when applied to other factory's reps.

VSF is fantastic. I have the one with the VS3235 and even winding is almost as good as my gen DJs. I'm sure the A2824 version is the same appearance-wise and the only tell would be the winding action of the A2824.
Plus the blue AR on the cyclops

Well, got my LN and Cookie Monster today.
Damn took forever to get all of the plastic strips off of the case and bracelet. Only unwrapped the Cookie Monster. Winds smooth enough.

Survived a hot shower.

Anyone take them in the pool or jacuzzi yet?

Very nice!
My got my LV today. Amen on the plastic coverings, whoever installs them is as talented as the people making the watches themselves.

Mine will go in the pool and sea, may grease the seals first, may not. I usually take all of my rep dive watches in the drink so long as they are modern models and have the easily replaced A28xx. No issues after all these years! But of course, always prepared to take on water on that first jump in lmao

Ill take some better pics in sunlight

I read the whole thread with great interest.
What can I say, the quality seems excellent.
I paid close attention to all the QC you posted and I noticed that most of them have the rehaut well aligned and also the serial numbers, something that on the VSF with Vs3235 I did not notice with this ease, in fact, the serial numbers are almost all not aligned.
