Is this 2824 movement has a slow change date between 10pm-12mn? Or the same as 3235 with quick change date at 12mn.

How hard is it to install a new eta 2824 or sw200? Is this something most Watchsmith is willing to do? Is it simple enough that it can be done as a DIY project?

I got an sw200 installed in my SMP300. Zero Cool sourced and did it for me. Pretty sure any watchmaker can.
Interesting option. Chinese are nearly 3 decades late in putting ETA2824 in Rolex reps. I've got a mid 90s sourced Taiwanese made Sub with gen ETA 2824 and another Taiwanese made Explorer (with real gold wrapped mid links, and gold bezel) with gen ETA 2836. Sub was $250, Explorer £500.
Do any USA or UK etc, dealers have this available? Sadly I do not trust triangle shipping just yet from our friendly TDs

Feels smooth, no issues. Pay attention to the back, mine was not Locked properly.
Do you have a Sub or any other Rolex with a VS/VR movement you can compare it to? Reason I ask is because, while the A2824 in my SMP300s are somewhat smooth to wind, they are loud and sound rough. The VS3235 in my 126610LN is smooth like butter and silent. Almost as good as my gen DJs. For someone like me, winding of the watch is important too. If I didn't have a rep with a VS3235, it probably wouldn't have bothered me. But owning one, it probably will. If it isn't comparable, then yeah. I'll just get another Starbucks with a VS3235.
