No Watch case opener!Any idea how to remove the turning bezel of the Submersible? Just pry it off with a watch knife opener? Tks.
There is no need to deal with the watch bezel; it seems to come with the case together. Therefore, it is not necessary to separate the bezel from the case in order to exchange the bezel.Any idea how to remove the turning bezel of the Submersible? Just pry it off with a watch knife opener? Tks.
In such case how to change the crystal? Shouldn't there be a crystal gasket and retention ring to hold it up in place? How could this be done without removing the bezel? There is no need to deal with the watch bezel; it seems to come with the case together. I'm sure, bro. I attempted it once on my own, the xtal came out but the bezel remained. I simply reinserted the crystal and it was fine.In such case how to change the crystal? BTW, is it necessary to change the crystal for the VSF PAM1055? Is the ex-factory crystal having the fisheye effect?
Cheers

It appears that the bezel is separate and working independently .
However, I suggest you consult a watch smith to handle it!
1055 will require an upgrade
yeahThanks for the info.
So you mean pushing the crystal out from the underside using a crystal press?
correctThanks for the info.

@Woundup Perfect! The 968 factory crystals have a significant fish eye effect at extreme angles. This crystal is so much better
Is it a etashazam crystal? Non AR or double AR?It certainly is, S... Next up is the 382 and then perhaps the 692. Now that I've done a few xtal swaps myself and getting the hang of it the confidence is growing... Now if I could only find a good method to get those bloody movement retaining tabs reinstalled ....
Yes - 2xARIs it a etashazam crystal? Non AR or double AR?
Do you mind to share the steps of how to swap the crystal out?
Cheers
Thanks.Yes - 2xAR
It's a relatively simple process, though only if you have to proper tools (my experience anyway) for each step. On the next one I'll take pictures of each step and post a tutorial.
