September release I’ve heard

according to the blog post that is..... it may be a very light grey, I suppose until someone has one in hand and can confirm we aint gonna know. Looking at Panerai's website it does appear to be a very light grey but lighting on the rep photos can be subjective and down to the conditions of the photo, white balance, exposure etc etc

Yes, and the pictures on P.com are CGI and they've been known to change details on a watch (either they changed their mind later in production or intentionally to throw replica makers off). And even if we see an actual photo of the rep and the gen, if they're not side by side, it would be difficult to determine how close or how far they are in terms of color.

The markers are definitely grey. Trusty just posted it on his site, the rep looks white Yes, we can argue white balance, angles etc. It looks like a good watch regardless without comparing it to the original.. which may not really matter because it keeps the style...

White or grey, it doesn’t matter on the wrist. Moreover, the watch is par excellence, beautiful.

It always amazes me when the Chinese rep makers put so much effort into a new model and then eff it up with a wrong but importart detail. My OCD noticed the wrong lume color right away.

I’ve hear that the 1st batch is limited to not that much pieces and that the next one will be available only after 1-2 months. Maybe only rumors but you never know..

A potential concern is the thickness of the watch. The gen uses the p.9010 movement so there’s a chance the gen case is slightly thinner (I.e. Pam389 vs Pam1389), but we can’t be sure for now
