I'm considering ordering this watch from intimewatch. How is the color on the blue dial compared to the real deal?

Hi, Just got this yesterday, and I must say I am very impressed with this monster of a 47 on a tiny 6,5/16,5 wrist

This beeing my first rep, I was surprised of the sound and feel of the movement, when winding and setting the time. This is deffinately inferior to gen. But once on the wrist this does not matter and it keeps great time.

The fisheye effect wich seems to be all across the submersible range.

I have a Loud rotor wich I have read can be silenced with a drop of oil, although there seems to be different opinions on how to do this.

Other than theese three (for me minor) things. What "flaws" does this sexy beast of a watch have?

looks great. You can always service the movement and silence the rotor.
when it comes to flaws the biggest is the color of the cease - VRF is made with titanium which is light / medium light gray. Gen is zirconium, copper, aluminum, titanium, and nickel
it has slightly different color. It has slight yellowish hue and surface has slight glow.
VSF is more matte in color.

I’ll add my 2c... got this a few months ago and very pleased with quality of build, color, and overall look of the watch. Get a nice blue strap to compliment.

If they made it like gen the strap should be 26/22. And I think they did.

Curiously, Puretime's photo shows a blue pearl (green minute hand)...

Hello guys.

I bought this gorgeous VSF Pam 692 from puretime about 6 months ago and it has been an amazing rep. I am very impressed with the quality build.

Quick question, is it safe to swim with the watch? I will not go diving with it, just a regular pool swim. I know it’s much better to waterproof it but that’s not easy for me as I was not able to find a rep watchmaker who can waterproof it in my country.

I attached a picture that puretime sent me with the QC. The pressure test says it passed a 3bar test. I don’t know what this really means.

Is it safe to swim with it? Any advise is highly appreciated.

Thank you

It’s always better to confirm that it’s waterproof as any watch, rep or gen can lose its resistance but I’ve never had a problem with rep pams failing when tested.

I dont like this VSF replica because, like all other PAM models who should have a clone P.9010 (799, 1616, 968, 1661 and many many others) they have a P.9000 relabeled. The two calibers are definitely different.
As far as I know there is not a P.9010 clone so I wont select any of these

Well since there won't be a p9010 clone, you're left with a rather tiny selection.

While the two movements are different in looks , functions are entirely the same. So one can only notice the difference once the caseback is opened.

My next purchase will be PAM616 who has a P.9000. I already have a PAM382 Bronze. Then my collection of Panerai is fine (I have an original PAM1305).
