441 is the OLDER model, 18mm thick , open caseback
1441 is the new model , 14 mm thick, closed caseback


same rule apply for the one with the ceramic bracelet :

438 : OLDER model, 18 mm thick , open caseback
1438 NEW model , 14 mm thick , closed caseback

it's the second time we say it now

i don't understand how they can miss the thickness on ceramic , 1661 in carbotech is about 15mm and the new 1312 is also at 15mm

Maybe the GMT function adds a little thickness.

i was thinking of that too, but the VSF 1033 GMT is at 16.3mm it's always 1.1 mm less ... and with an open caseback (that eat always around 1 / 1.5 mm i think) ....

To rephrase a little ... you get 441 with solid caseback and blue second.
