If that's the case then hopefully the 1663 isn't fair behind..
1119 and 1663 share the same case shape and material..
VSF already produce the Carbotech Bezel for the 661 and 1661.
"All" they need to do is the dial for the 1663 and they'll have 2 Pam's for the price of one!

It's good that someone voiced it in this form. I'm in. As part of the promotion, they should give as a gift sneakers with a sole that starts flashing with multi-colored lights when you step on it.
I totally agree with you, they want lume everywhere but I don’t understand why they didn’t lume date as well.

So this just arrived today and I can't compare this to gen because... Well, I don't have the gen but in the references I've seen, there are a lot of very little details that to describe alone, you probably wouldn't be able to picture accurately. Little things like the way it sits on your wrist or looks in person as opposed to in person and things like that.
Anyway, having had this for almost no time at all, I did start to notice a few things. I don't know if they're gen like features but when I look at them on the rep, I'm surprised if they're there and wonder if they're intentional.
When you look at it in most outdoor lights, the dial has that slight sunburst effect that make it look like a dark rhodium as opposed to black and the hands are a deep black.
What happens is when you look at this, the hands look like they float and they look like they're at a different depth and it looks pretty cool.
Also, the lume on this is powerful both in whar/wear illuminates as far as how powerfully it illuminates. But when it's lit up, it looks a little differently irl than it does in person.
Like when you look at the Pic, one of the first things I noticed is "LUMINOR MARINA PANERAI" on the dial is illuminated. But when you look at it, it is not illuminated visually lummed. It's only in the pics.
These are just a few small features that you catch with the naked eye that are different than in pics.
But overall, like the 1661 it fits and feels very nice on the wrist. It wears very well. Anyway, just thought I'd point out a few things I noticed the first day.

Just wondering about the lumed band and why you switched it? Is it lumed like the picture? Or very different in real.
I think this might look good with the watch. But $150 for it ..

Well I have a 7.5" wrist and rep straps tend to be a little small. I didn't even try it to be honest. The first thing I did was switch it out. It looks a little suspect but it's more that it's not my style. Although the stitching isn't the best.

I like the lumed buckle but I think watch is already loud enough.
Also I'm not big on the Spanish stitching on a strap. Personally.

Despite somewhat funny look, it does tell the time and keep you focused on time reading. Still my everyday beater
