True... remember OOR releases of gen PAM 127? Like 13 pieces at all.. and got sold in rep version very well, too...

Let me share my story. I got Pam 220 OOR from Hong Kong Boutique about 10 years ago forgot the year may be have to check the certificate. I was looking for this SS bracelet that time. I don't know the story about the production of OOR. The seller told me that there were parts left over so Panerai reproduced this Pam220. There were 11 in total . My 220 serial number OOR 07/11 . Would like to hear more from members.thanks.

How’s the case texture compared to OEM?

I've only gotten QCs of this model so far but in past models the cases have been very well made. I can't compare the new materials models (Carbotech or bmg) but it's definitely good qualityalso I will say that VSF does and outstanding job of capturing little detaild that are definitely not accidental (like the way a dial reacts in the sun. And not even just the sunburst dials but the otherwise matte dials like the 979 esp the 979, the 799, the 959, the 1616) because they are too good. They don't just copy a model, they catch a the little details about that model and replicate those as well.

One of those details is the Carbotech. The way it looks indoors is different than the say it looks in the sunlight and the layers of tlcarbotech light up in the sun making the case seem alive.

I highly recommend it. I don't think you'll be disappointed with the case at all.
