lemme know what you think. I think it looks pretty bad. Yours looked much better imo - also seen others that look way better than this one.

Yeah, I was referring to the carbon pattern. Honestly if it was just that id be fine with it, but that crack at the 5pm hour marker is no bueno. Also, it sort of looks like there is some "pitting" in the carbon at the 1:30ish mark... do you see that or is it just me?
also, would you recommend getting this watch serviced once I get it in? im not familiar with the replica .9000 Panerai movement.
Do you know what the material or style is called? Hard to search for...
I tried finding the strap but to no success.. Would like to get a refernce too if possible!

I just called an AD and the guy had the 683 in stock and measured it with a caliper and said it was 13.1mm... he said the 683 and 960 should be the same depth as they use the same movement, give or take 1mm.
the 960 rep is 14.5 I imagine the 683 will be the same as it has the same movement in it. The Gen has a different thinner movement. So as good as these two 42mm reps are they are definitely not super reps because of the inaccurate movement and probably 1.3mm thicker (if thats really that noticeable?.
Help?? I just ordered and received the PAM 960. When went to put it on, I could hear something loose inside the watch. I then tried to wind the watch, it was very difficult to wind and it felt like i was winding up a 'top' or trying to pull the cord to start a lawnmower. I assume something broke loose during shipping, any thoughts on what the issue could be, would be very appreciated with any answers. Thanks!

superspark69 1.5 mm is not a deal breaker lol. But a crappy finish would be... but glad to hear yours looks good. Hopefully my next one will look better. Pics would be super appreciated if you get the time

If the 1.3 thickness came from caseback, it's matter. If thickness 1.3 came from mid case is not a problem. Like daytona rep, before noob there were thicker caseback daytona rep and they sit really high on the wrist.
