White gold has different hue compared to stainless steel - highly polished 904l.
White gold looks different when light hits it.

But I'm pretty sure you won't called out because of that. Only very few will know that the blue one is only made in white gold and even less will be able to see the difference between 904L and white gold without a direct comparison. The slightly warmer hue is not that easy to see. Looks good, but I'm not a fan of the polished center links, it already annoys me on my Daytona, it's just a fingerprint and scratch magnet. That's why I somehow prefer the Batman on the Jubilee.

I see... This issue is given, is nothing the factories can do as is not a flaw but a different metal finish. I guess you can get it plated in WG

White Gold coating is more difficult to plate than the Yellow Gold or Rose Gold colours as the metal almost always comes in the form of an alloy and as a standard process, it shall have a rhodium coating on the top of that alloy. Maybe someone can do a rhodium coating on the top of SS and do a side by side photoshoot to understand the subtle differences in the hue.

Your date is sitting low and it's not an angle of view issue. With even cyclops borders around the dial date window, a properly centered date will look centered.

Ask to see some more dates
