VSF New Release of 114060 No Date Submariner!

I’m considering to get a pre owned VSF 114060 from my local watch group, one of the members share his 114060 with me and told me that it’s from VSF, but the serial is starting with “A01”.

Does anyone know if this is a real VSF? Thank you!

A01 and S19 were first of the first "pre-raid" batches, with many people giving high praise to all pre-raid bstches as being best in terms of production quality and attention to detail.

I tried with multiple TDs and every of them told me, that VSF 114060 is currently not available but 124060 is. From I understood them it is not sure if the 114060 will come back to production. Did anyone hear something different?

I heard from a TD and a dealer in china last April that the VSF 114060 should be available in late May or early June.

However, there have been raids recently so I don't know if this expected timelines are still current.

Honestly, If I were the factory, I would focus on selling a better version of the 124060 first (i.e. without the ghost date position).

When I asked the TD’s about the VSF they told me the same: the model is not available for a long time and it is uncertain if they will become available again - very sad!

I just got VFS 124060 today.. and there is little dark secret in this watch. The sapphire, when smeared with silicone oil - revealed this sad truth:



As you can see, it looks like they removed cyclop from regular date version of sapphire. I had to use quite a rub with acetone to get rid of it.

VSF is getting lazy and sloppy.

Am so surprised that where in Guangzhou China, every trusted TD here or even night runner with backpack sells top notch CF reps for Subs but everyone here preferred VSF. CF reps cost slightly higher than VSF for the quality CF offer (especially the ceramic bezel from CF) yet VSF being popular here for international buyer. For those looking to get a Sub soon, i suggest you try CF sub. I can assure you CF sub is far more superior than other factory. Just came back from Guangzhou with 3 new subs from CF and i did not lay hand on VSF eventho they are cheaper here.

Seems to be consistent for most major cities in the Far East. Clean Factory seems to be preferred even if VS Factory has a superior sub.

This is all about marketing and favourable reviews by those local dealers and reviewers in Youku

If you have resources to access the local "watch society" then you will know which factory has superior sub. Remember, those reps are made by the locals. Why is VSF preferred by the international buyer? Because one starting telling one oh VSF is far more superior. Again if you have access to their local resources you will get to see much more details comparison. Just my 2 cents. Rep is always a rep.

I personally prefer VSF because of the clearness of their crystal over clean. Plus I still remember the 904l metal that ZZF used. however, I still hold clean in high regards as one of the best

Yes because CF manufactured ceramic bezel and it has the best ceramic bezel ever exist in rep for Subs. I think VSF source the bezel from CF too.
