Crownguards have been bad but CF corrected them! Not perfect but much better. But look for the VS movement! The VS3130 is the movement to go with!!! Jtime has some CF with VS3130 movement… the movement is a must have!

You’re talking about the $598 one on JTime? CF never corrected the crown guards, or even improved them - you can see the pics on the Jtime site. From above they are too angled, not scalloped enough, and from the side the shape is still vertical - there is no angle. I accept this isn’t as big an issue as some make out, but to say they fixed it is wrong.

Yeah, they’re really taking the piss with this one, and as I said above, it’s the usual CF case with wrong CG’s - people shouldn’t parrot the website description - they have NOT been fixed.

You are absolutely right, they are still wrong but they updated the case for sure. BUT still wrong and VSF has the better crownguards… this is why I personally own a franken on a VS base and not on a CF base!

Yes, it's the $600 one that I was talking about. I had already decided that I wanted the VSF, but I couldn't help asking if anyone had seen this new CF version. Improvements are made all the time, so I was hoping that someone had firsthand knowledge of it, and I wondered if it had finally done enough to dethrone the VSF as the best version available.

It looks like I'll be ordering the VSF in the next day or so. I've read posts about a decrease in the quality of the watches post-shutdowns due to raids and COVID, but I guess that's why we get QC pics. Hopefully, I'll find a nice one in stock, and I'll be able to share my results when it arrives.

agreed case is same old clean, i highly doubt the hands got changed and just a new xtal.. and movement - not worth the cash

You will never see the markers line up properly with such app unless the watch is placed perfectly perpendicular to the cam lens

You realise that there are 3 dimensions in the real world? (Technically more but 3 we can perceive)

On a 2D picture there's only one axis over which you can rotate.

Index at 9 o'clock seems wrong to you because the red line that joins 9 o'clock to 3 o'clock is not perfectly aligned. Try to draw a single line that perfectly joins the two index fingers.

Watch is fine, you posted in other thread also, you will not see these aligning lines in real life unless you have X-rays eyes
