It would be 100% ok for me to hear:

"Hey look, here is a picture where Ou see complete engravement, Ou are wrong. Please in furture try to do more research before posting. Thsnks"

but as so often in the internet, people talk with less then respect than in real life, because their i no chance getting slapped for treating the person they talk with like a dog:p

you all have a really great day!
lets love reps:)
and yes: it was my fault!

Huh? Derjenigewelcher was talking bollocks. Again. And got corrected. As usual.

Yep, +1

What’s Jay done wrong?

Nothing except not having that guy on his ignore list.

Nevertheless: derjenigewelcher has now reached level 2.0 in his little world. In this small world, he has invented his own rules. These state that he may no longer be criticized or even publicly corrected due to the number of postings and his achieved likes. In his universe, he may now officially and publicly spread half-knowledge and BS without presenting evidence and facts. While he apologized for misinformation a few weeks ago, he is now allowed to publicly criticize the one who corrected him. And then also gets some petting so that he is not offended.

I know the above is off topic but I couldn't hold it back.

Then stop spreading half-knowledge again.

I'm sorry I was wrong.

What I have to say to you, however, is that I am glad that I don't know any people like you in the RL. They seem to have an absolutely negative culture. If someone is wrong, don't forget to mention that they do it over and over again. You do not see or do not want to see the positive things where I help members or the like, for example.

I suspect that putting yourself above others will make you feel better. Have fun with it and I hope you will be so happy.
But thank you for correction and profiling yourself.
Please dont answer to this post.
Jayalvin777

Nah bud. If you post incorrect information, especially when you don't have evidence to back it up, you need to accept any response you recieve. Even if you perceive it as excessively negative.

We want to discourage incorrect information getting posted, so if this makes you, or anyone else for that matter, do a little more research before hitting that post button, the entire forum is better off.

(Sorry all for contributing another post that doesn't add value to this thread.)

lets go back to topic :))

anyone else having the feeling that the bezel is fading a bit ? Gave it already some cleanings with a super soft tooth brush. Maybe I am just overreacting
First I had the feeling that the 0 on 10 & 20 had a different shade then the 1/2

A little overreacting. Even gens some point of use collect a bit of dirt or dust over requiring a clean up. I started applying a few mists of automotive ceramic coating onto a microfiber cloth and run on insert, been helping a lot.

It looks beautiful. I'm going to have to copy that trick when I purchase mine. I've used automotive dash board protectant on my bronze watch, it keeps it from developing the red patina. But I think I finally figured out the right formula. Also works great on really dry exotic leather watch bands, fills in the cracks.

I'll answer then, Jayalvin777 seems to be spot on. Whats the old saying "easily offended, means you are easily manipulated". He simply corrected you, showed proof and reminded you..a search is free and takes almost zero time. Have a good day and simply acknowledge the mistake, no reason to make it personal.

Back to adding value to this thread, I sent my email off to Eric at Geektime for one of these..gotta have one. Looking forward to seeing if the factories start making a "12406" model soon.

These inserts do fade after cleaning. One of my others went really bad after swimming in salt water. I’m not up to date with how they are making these inserts but Definitely not a PVD’d process being used on these.

Hi guys,

I received my QC-pics today! So probably the heat is over! I ordered two beauties but unfortunately, I think that both have an issue with the marker at three o'clock. For me, it looks like that the first one has some kind of small dots on the marker itself and the second one has a production error or something like that on the left side of the marker.

What do you guys think?

Ask to see a clean factory before you accept those. Gl

[PICS REMOVED]

Can't really judge the hour markers, I'd ask for more pictures from other angles.

However, it does seem like the lume is a bit more grainy and gen-like in these specimens? Or is it just too long ago I saw some QC pics with hi-def hour markers that you could actually study the surface of them?
