thanks friend, come on all in all it's a good coloring. I'm happy for all of us.
as you live it on your wrist, you always talk about color ...
by the way this will be my first 12 ... I only ever got 11 because of the 16cm wrist that I find myself, lol.
curious to try it on your wrist
As soon as mine arrives I’ll tell you how the gold is, I’ll line it up against this beauty for comparison..

VSF16618 / gen 16613
On the VSF it's too "green", too bright and not warm at all (for the one in the picture and if compared to the 5 digit one).
It almost makes the 5 digit look like rose gold
I must say I don't share the pessimism of some nor do I rate the gold color as being fully accurate - that's my view from wearing the watch all day today.
I'm in the middle ground - and I think it will definitely fade so my view is that I will probably go to someone for a plating job - I've never done this before so any PMs with advice/recommendations for US-based folks would be greatly appreciated/
I've had about 10 "gold" reps and IME the color does not fade but rather it will darken or tarnish over time as the watch is exposed to moisture from various sources. You can delay this change by wiping it down after every use, not wearing it while sweating, store it in a sealed box with dessicant, etc.
I am not concerned about how closely my rep color matches gen, but by how much I admire it when looking at it. My preference tends toward lighter yellow shades of gold, and I've been completely happy with every BP "gold" rep I've bought. Others not so much.
All BP plated 2836, about $350
