Hi mate, could you please confirm whether the date wheel on your beautiful green watch is silver/gen like?

im just tossing up between the white and green and would really appreciate any help available.

many thanks in advance!

Well here is my white one that I just picked up from m2m recently.

I thought I would love it bit I am not sure yet. it seems a bit boring to me.

Hi, have VSF introduced a newer version from
that which was brought out in 2018? Particularly interested in the white dial, with orange tones version

Just picked one up. Was unimpressed with it on the bracelet but once I finally got it on the rubber I'm now a fan.
Any tips for getting it on the rubber strap? I tried it several times now, but always have to give up. I just couldn't get the rubber strap on with the spring bars from the bracelet and also not some other spring bars I had lying around.

It was definitely a pain in the ass. I gave up on my first try. I used the spring bars from the bracelet and squeezed the strap in from the underside of the watch pushing in one side of the spring bar and squeezing that in then the other side. I’d recommend squeezing it in without the spring bars in first to try and reshape it abit. I dunno about yours but mine was a bitch to get in and seemed like it was wider than it should be. Don’t give up bro it’s worth the effort. Transforms the watch.

You need curved spring bars and a good effort to get the strap to fit.

Thanks, might have to pick some up. I gave up after about half an hour again yesterday. I didn't want to scratch the watch any more. And I think I will prefer it on the bracelet anyway as I'm more of a bracelet guy. Just wanted to try it as it's lying around anyway.

I finally managed to put mine on a rubber strap by using 21mm spring bars. (20mm were too short)
What really helped me was to slightly bend the spring bars with 2 pliers.

I've seen the gens in Omega Boutiques. The white and black were quite bland, the blue looked stunning but it looks like VSF haven't managed to replicate the colour properly

I think the black would pop a bit more. The grey would be nice. From what I see and hear the VSF blue is pretty close now.
I think I will put mine up for sale some time soon. Just not gelling with it. Too big, would prefer a 39mm.

This is what worries me. I'm not sure this isn't too big for my 7.5" wrist. A 39 that is 12mm thick would be my dream..

Mine is a 7 1/8 inch wrist. Pics above. It's not that I can't wear it, I just prefer a smaller watch. 38-39mm is my sweet spot. Love the size of my Daytona and GMTII reps. My dress watches are smaller yet and they wear great too.
Many people with your size say they think a 38mm watch us too small for them. I think they are wrong.

After about 2 months I finally got the Aqua Terra in. Amazing watch, but it's impossible to get the rubber strap on. I spent over an hour already and gave up twice. Maybe I need bent spring bars.
And the size issues also disappeared immediately, fit's pretty well on my small 6.5" wrist.

Congrats man, looks amazing.
Any idea how close the colour to gen ? Any did they fix the datewheel (it was white paint and now looks silver)
I apologise if this was mentioned, I am still reading the thread (from last page to first)

It's pretty similar. The Gen is a bit "deeper", but for the price it's more than ok and nobody will notice anything. Yes, the date is silver since a few months.

Not sure if you managed to get your rubber strap on but I also gave up after an hour of messing with it. I went back to it the next day and ended up being extremely easy with very small flathead screwdriver bit from my iFixit kit. The spring bar tool was useless for me. So when in doubt, use a screwdriver. Still in doubt, use a sledgehammer ????
