Sidhu6355 As far as I can tell, pretty close font, unsure if the raised aspect is replicated properly, but most definitely the grey has a grey dw background. Wanted the grey one but due to the dw I'm in the process of ordering the dark blue one...

we can ask the members who have received their pieces regarding the dial quality

I just received a white AT 8900 and a blue AT8500. these two are marvelous! build quality is astounding and the movement (though it feels like it lacks all lubrication, compared to my gen 8500) is such a win.

out of the two I prefer the blue 8500, because it's just more eye catching. the white dial 8900 is a tad boring in comparison.

today i tried the grey with blue hands gen in the official store in MBS Singapore. Definitely has a grey DW...

Are VSF intentionally doing this "mistake" so they can release a v2 in a couple months???

or are they only looking at the Omega website catalog (it shows a white DW) and not checking the final release product?

The gen prototype had a white date wheel.

Tag heuer carrera calibre 5 Grey dial also haves both white and Grey date wheel. I saw both of them in Gen stores. Probably depends on region and year if build.

My AT (8900) goes wrong on the day for 6-8 seconds. Do you think the clock needs fast a service?

Has anyone had a chance to evaluate the new AT straps compared to gen? Which has a more genuine feel, the steel or rubber strap?

The bracelets have a slightly rattly feel to them. Not as bad as the early V6F bracelets, but still feel kinda flimsy. And the edges of the links are very sharp. The rubber strap is very nice. Clasp is well done as well.

So I'd say the rubber strap feels more gen.

Errrrr the clasp from my rubber strap did not make it through it first outing!

Any ideas how to stick the logo back on?

Hi Guys! Received my white version today. It's beautiful to look at (attached pic below). I'm curious to know if anyone else has noticed a rattle from the movement? It seems to be quite noisy as the rotor spins and I can also here quite a loud rattle if I tap the watch. Everything seems to work OK and I understand a small amount of rattle is generally acceptable, but was curious to know if it is just me, or if this particular movement is noisy. Cheers :)

Recently received my watch and I am having the same issue. Like whenever I turn my wrist ever so slightly I hear the rattle sound and it can be heard even in ambient surroundings. As beautiful as it is to look at I am having a hard time wearing it as it cheapens the feel of the watch when a noise can be heard whenever I move my wrist.

that is not good feedback...is this movement batch worse than before?

No idea if the previous batch was better, but I can assume that there would have been more negative feedback from members if it was this bad. This is my first rep with this movement but first impressions are not good unfortunately.

Do you think servicing the movement would silence it, similar to a miyota?

If you have the rattling problem you should have a watch smith take a look at it. The rotor on mine doesn't make any noticeable sounds. The only way I can hear it is by putting it close to my ear.
