Any advice here guys - my dark blue came in with a strange stitching defect on the strap. This was not shown in the QC so it looks like they sent me a different strap than what I approved. I contacted the TD and they said that it’s not a big enough issue to warrant a replacement but they would sell me a new strap at a special price. That do you think?

I wouldn't call it an issue. This is common and usually won't harm the integrity of the strap.

It wouldn't bother me so much either.
What's the special price you got for a new strap, and was it with the buckle also?
As reference, I ordered a seperate vsf strap with buckle and paid US $30 for it, might be good to know if you decide to order another one.

I'd have more of an issue that the seller is not sending out pics of the actual item that he or she is shipping. That's a little alarming IMO.

Has anyone had issues with the date wheel. I received my orange white aqua terra yesterday and I can not adjust the date wheel.

You have to pull the crown to the first position, then go through a whole 24 hours for the date to change, and the minutes hand should not move. Only the hours. Try that.

That did work, but don't these movements have a setting to just move the date wheel only? Also, does the movement get damaged at all but jumping though so many dates and moving the hour hand so many times?

The gen movement works exactly like the rep. I think it is a function for adjusting when you change timezones (because you can adjust the hour independently). I don't like it either, but that's how it is. Since it is a new clone movement, it is anyone's guess if it will last and for how long.

That's what I was thinking. Had it been in the QC and I overlooked it, I would take the fault. However, the issue was not in the QC pictures. Although I do understand w0rn and leo6929, and that it won't actually effect the the strap, I'd like for the TD to replace it. I'll see what they say in the morning...

Check out the link of the watch from the Omega site.

I think it looks just the way it is supposed to, and also remember these images are enhanced to the point where you will never be able to spot the same details when it is on your wrist.
I would accept it and not worry too much about QC pics unless there is some error that really stands out. Received mine today, haven't unpacked it yet but first impression is amazing.

Here is the image of my light blue dial one logo seems to be a bit tilt up on the right side. But I think thats only visible when zooming in really up close.

Overall I am really happy with the looks of it.
