Actually may you tell us if the rotor screw cover is glued, is a real screw or what? Thanks
the "star" thing is just a decoplate stuck on with tape. it came loose when I tried to unscrew it

Hey guys, I ordered mine and got the QC pics. Do the markers look a little too green to you? Also feel the dial markers don't match up well with the bezel markers, especially on the 3 and 9 positions. What do yall think?

It just my opinion minute tick at 12 not align with lume marker (I mean it not center to the lume)
I think it looks fine, those tiny margins are impossible to tell from one pic-I can make my gen look out of line by moving the camera very slightly and believe me, it is perfection.

Perfect thanks a lotthe "star" thing is just a decoplate stuck on with tape. it came loose when I tried to unscrew itunderneath is a very similar system though. looks like a washer with 3 holes in it that you unscrew like a lognut
There always seem to be a lot of people that are complaining that the makers can not get the Bezel Insert right. The claim is always that the Gen has a flush or smooth bezel insert and the reps are engraved and then filled with paint or what ever and there is a small indentation that shouldn't be there. On the Noob lmpo they had the bezel insert absolutely smooth so we know rep makers can do it. To be honest, I have been to the Omega AD to look at this watch when it first came out, but that was a long time ago and I really don't have a good feel for what the Gen is like. I will say this about this rep though. I personally can not tell if there is a ridge there or not by lightly running the pad of my index finger along the bezel insert. If I switch to running my fingernail along the surface of the bezel insert when I run it across one of the markers it is just barely catches and I can tell. If I look at it under a loop I am unable to tell if it is smooth or not. Here is a close up pic that I think shows just how good it is. If indeed the Gen is 100% smooth, there is absolutely NO WAY anyone would ever be able to notice this. This Pic is magnified like 100x and you can't even tell.

I was swimming with mine today after pressure testing it. It passed 10bars without having it sealed. Great watch.
