Is the lume always so yellowish on all models? Some pictures on google arent that yellow. But maybe also the lighting condition.

Possibly lighting but this is a problem vsf needs to improve. Just been viewing gen today and they are nice and white like Rolex markers. Vsf yellow/green is bad!

Does anybody have the OMF to check if these are more white. They look to be in pics but..... I’m tempted to swap in the hands and dial if they are better.

The lume of my Seamaster v2 is on pictures perfectly white. On the wrist the lume colour depends on lightning conditions and can be white , yellowish and greenish.
But overall a really nice watch.

The lume on gen markers is not pure white (other than Rolex) but noticeably whiter than on VSF reps. The yellow/green hue is even more obvious because of the contrast to the pure white markers of the bezel insert.

The problem is that the lume looks really white under cold artificial light (like on most TD pictures) but pretty yellow/green under warm light (indoors) and daylight (outdoors). Hard to capture that on pictures.

I hope they bring a v3 and fix that lume issue soon.

I don’t know anything about a lume issue.

1) I have 2 of the black dial V2‘s. One from the first batches of the V2 (directly after the V1 was replaced) and just yesterday I received another one from Li. So „latest“ batch. On both the lume is EXACTLY the same.

2) A few weeks I compared the lume with the gen of my colleague who presented his new watch proudly in our department. It’s -EXACTLY- the same.

You are just lucky then. The lume of my black dial VSF V2 was definitely different (more yellow) from the gen that I tried at the AD.

If the gen would have that kind of vintage lume I wouldn't buy it either. It doesn't match the overall modern and fresh look of this watch.

i have owned 3 gens of this watch and the lume in full light is nowhere near the same as the vsf! The gen is crisp white so you may have to get your eyes tested buddy!

Again, buddy, there were NO differences. Maybe it’s due to some batches with a flaw.

for person who concern about yellow i think it also depend on environment light as you can see arf lime seem more white but noob and vsf seem have some yellow and if you look carefully you will see variant of each lume of vsf depend on angle light so i think u have to compare with gen and same light sittuation to make sure it yellow or pure whit

and here is gen omega smp vs rolex submariner

Has anyone had the issue of the date wheel not disengaging when attempting to screw down the crown? Is this a common problem or any idea on what it would take to fix something like that?

Setting the time is very difficult as I have to set the date multiple days before and keep attempting to screw down until it lands where I need it.

I bought a black dial and a grey dial, and the grey dial has this same problem. I asked about it as well but got no response. The black dial movement crown feels great, but the grey dial crown takes a LOT more force to get it set back into the case, and often the date adjustment does not disengage. Seems to be a hit or miss problem.
