The case looks like it’s just come out of production and they haven’t finished it. Quite harsh looking edges. It looks for want of a better phrase ‘3D printed’.
The top of the bezel stands out too much, it’s a lot thicker than the gen.
The case is just bleached carbon. Probably a cheap bleach surplus Purchase left over from Trumps scientific comment.
I really wanted to like this, as it would be my first carbon Panerai. Guess all this tech is for the new generation of watch guy.

what’s next techtech. Where have have carefully gathered up every tech word we have spoken and carefully woven it it together with silk worms and swallow spit to create a new kind of emotion for your wrist.
Ending on a plus, the crown guard looks great, it’s finished to a high standard

i found some gen pics (no for press release wich is higly photoshopped)
the real fibratech is clearly different in terms of shade / color / render from the one from VSF (even more if it's simply a carbon case with a lighter tone)
also the crown guard pin seems grey in the real picture, (vs black on the press release pics and so on the VSF release , they seems to have based all their new release on the press release pics and not on the real product .... so they screw up some details , like on the 1119....)

Regarding fibrotech - as expected, this is really a different material. But with the pin, an insulting omission. By the way, in these photos it also pin out rather strangely, it is not cut down to the same level with the CG.
The lighting on the QC’s isn’t very good but I think this will look good in real life. Accepted and anticipated

so confirmation on all points above, pic of a gen in AD :
Main flaws (for me and my opinion)
- CG pin need to be grey , not black (very obvious)
- REG TM on the cg is not filled with black paint like on the VSF (obvious)
- font seems too bold on the VSF (not so obvious)
- shade / tone of the case (not so obvious, depends of many factors)
- shade / tons of the dial (not so obvious, depends of many factor)
hope they can correct at least the two first points in the next batch ... seems easy fixable ....
in dream, if they can make the case in real fibratech, but i don't think it's possible in a near future
i really loooove this model and color combo, so i'm nitpicking but i'm sure VSF can nail it right !
