VRF new GMT Master II (v2) with CF Bezel insert released

As promised, just received mine back from Adrian, brand new VRF case (serviced 3186) gen xtal, gen bezel assembly/insert, ARF bracelet (polished up) swapped out from old noob which died.

Couldn't be happier with the outcome. Props to ado213 excellent service as always.

Looks great bro. Do you know what crystal retaining ring was used? Sometimes they come as part of a complete gen bezel assembly.

I don't unfortunately, assuming the one which was on my noob (gen bezel assembly) would have transferred across or would he use the one that's on the VRF? I'm pretty clueless.

He did swap the VR assembly/insert and crystal onto the noob case and said it was a nightmare, as the nylon bezel retainer was split when It was removed so he had to make a new one. Unsure if this helps answer?

Hmm, no that doesn't nail it down about the retaining ring. If you talk to him again and think about it maybe you could ask? I know the VRF crystal retaining ring is not a great quality part and the VRF bezel assembly doesn't play well with others sometimes. So it would be really useful to know what retaining rings ended up on each watch. Those are such important parts when it comes to bezel swaps.

It's great he was able to get both of them swapped for you. VRF to Noob swap can be a real PITA sometimes, I know! Your new piece looks great, nice that the ARF bracelet fit, it's hit or miss on those. Congrats!

Well he did say the VRF to noob was a nightmare, and it doesn't sit the best all being said on the case. The gen on the VRF is in a lovely position though, sitting exactly how it should. Leave it with me I'll ask the question and see what we get, and thanks for the kind words, appreciated.

L'orologio è spettacolare. Ora aspettiamo di vedere il Vrf di un mio amico che ha anche fatto inserire il dial gen. Ecco il piccolo.

This post makes me really happy. I am also a happy owner of a Gmt Vrf and I never get tired of wearing it. As a chest I had glass and gen insert inserted. The watch is spectacular. Now we wait to see the Vrf of a friend of mine who also did insert the dial gen. Here is the little one.

wow, I got plans for doing the same build. Does the VRF GMT with CF bezel come with the VR3186 stock? I saw on INtime it said SA3186, not sure whether that is the actual VR3186

Yes mate VR3186, CF bezel comes with the latest version also. It's the best ottb bezel and insert I've had tbh. Nothing beats gen but it's good. QC of mine from Li prior to mods attached for ref.

Is the pic or is the upper sel recessed on the contrary? (higher than the case)
The lower 2 sels looks very good
