For me an instant purchase - if any factory achieves a thickness under 8mm this might even become my less recognizable daily goto replacing the PP 5712.

That would be fantastic, but probably not happening.

The new 222 comes with a 3,6 mm movement and myiota 9015 starts at 3,9 mm if I recall correctly, so a factory like PPF could probably do one of their modded 9015s and get close in overall thickness.

In doubt i would Take an incorrect closed caseback and a Quartz movement If i can get the correct Case size and thickness.

Got the email from VC today and knew there would be discussion on here about it. Excited to see this be released - hopefully sooner than later! The SS version will be much easier to daily wear than the gold model.
