Posted about this on the Tourbillon thread but thought that it deserved its own section here.

Saw this on Trusty Time.
Very interesting
For a first attempt doesn't seem bad.
What are people opinions

I'm saying the watch doesn't look half bad except for the dial
The ss strap, however, does not look up to par of some other reps and the finishing is questionable all round

I guess $8800 is a bargain for a rep of a $100K watch, still $8800 will be a nice gen...at least in my opinion.

That is temporary... means Andrew doesn’t exactly know the retail price. Will be around 700$

The price is definaly temporary Andrew always puts his pieces up at that price and changes them a little while after.

Malta cross in the tourbillon is sadly very different, gen is thin and polished, rep is kind of fat and as this aweful grainy texture...

More interesting is the @3 and @9 markers. Comparing gen pictures seems contradictory. Some have same @12 markers (more triangle shape), some have rectangle shapes...

Yea Vacheron has a bit of history having very small differences between there promotional pictures and the real thing.

There was a boutique edition of the overseas dual time that had a different power reserve hand and sub-dial rings to the original press release pictures.

Now those bloggers, do they shoot the watches or do they usually use branded promotional pictures?

JF can make its RO tourbillon under 11mm... this looks too thick to me

Trouble is JF RO tourbillions have all been rubbish so far. This watch on the other hand, although it looks a tad thicker than the genuine, looks like a decent attempt.

It looks like they made a new dial that is darker and less sunburst'y compared to the BP 4500V, yet still not being the full, deep enamel of the retail. Seems like it would be an easy double-dip to create and sell a new and updated version of the 4500V, anyone knows if that is happening?
