i personally don't think you need to mod anything. No one will use a loupe to look at the dial, hands or case.

That is quite pretty. Not usually a fan of "busy" dials, but this look great.

I have the green strap I bought for my aqua. Two reasons I haven't swapped it in.

1. I'm a lazy mofo.
2. I love bracelets.

I probably will do it sometime just to see what it looks like in person.

unlikely .. even genuine Ingenieur you find at ADs comes with the standard bracelet. For the micro adjustment buckle, you need to fork out additional money.

I'm probably in for the aqua dial and I see Andiot has it from V7F, however all of his listings state that the case and bracelet are titanium. I'm assuming this is an error, but has anyone else ordered one of these from Andiot?



In the meantime I'm reaching out to Andiot to confirm that it's actually steel per Gen.

its an error on his site. There is no titanium rep. As far as I know some of us reached out and told him, but he doesnt care to change it.

I bought a modded v7 aqua from @xingpatrick. Polished hands, indices, and bracelet, and modified bracelet pins so the links move together much more flexibly and smoothly. I also have a base v7, and while the mods aren’t essential, they do give the watch an extra sparkle and feeling of quality (and they also weren’t that expensive).

Some of you may have noticed that I've always been a #1 cheerleader for the black version...uhmmm, this has sort of changed. I've received the Aqua version. It's one of those watches that you just have to see IRL to understand and can't make a photo that would do it justice. It's like having 10 watches in 1, it changes a lot depending on light conditions. I also really really like polished mid links, they take it to another level
