I really want to see a comparison between v7 and ixdao. I have 3 ixdao and they are great. Black, mop blue dial & grey. I keeping send ixdao messages asking if they will do a titanium version but no plans too. With TD's being out of stock this watch must be popular so you would think they would produce the titanium version. I understand titanium is harder to work with.
Here ya go...
Welcome to my transition! LOL

Oh great. Which one do you prefer? Is the ixdao smaller it looks like it is? What about overall finishing and dial? Hands and markers. Better on the v7? Blue looks darker on v7.

The Ixdao has a diameter of 39.5mm vs the IWC of 40mm. So basically the same size.

I prefer the V7 by a long shot... the dial is much nicer IMO. They are both great watches, but I'll be selling the Ixdao because I don't wear it.
I've ordered the gen titanium, so we'll see how I prefer the V7 vs that when it arrives, but I think I have the answer to that already!

Please share a side by side comparison once the gen arrives. Thanks!

The V7 Ingenieur really seems to be the perfect rep:

- Solid caseback
- ETA clone - can be swapped with a gen Sellita or ETA, if it dies
- Gen Ingenieur is freaking expensive, but still attainable (not like a AP RO)
- Seems to be really well build
- V2 quickly solved the minor flaws

I really cannot find any downsides to this model...
Is the Selita SW300-1 a direct swap? How about the hour and minute wheels? Do they have the same dimensions as the 2892A2?

I wish they did a titanium rep. I think the ixdao is fantastic. Fit and finish. Feel of the bracelet is great and wears really well. I might have to get a v7.

They are completely different ixdao using screws
Screws vs pins? If it’s just a different securing method, could the links maybe still be compatible with each other, as long as the screws and pins are of the same diameter?
