Not my cup of tea, but if they make these as good as they did with the Mark XVIII's, it'd be amazing. Make one in titanium while at it.

Here´s a C&P of the promo text (machine translated). Mostly blabla but the info about the movement (2892 and SW300 version) is interesting ...

V7 factory seven-star recommended Ingenieur engineer watch

IWC launches a new generation of Ingenieur engineer watches at Watches & Wonders Geneva in 2023. Designed by Gérald Genta, it returns to re-enact the classic Ref. 1832 designed by Gérald Genta in the 1970s.

The 40mm case combines vertical brushing, circular brushing and mirror polishing processes, and the carefully reconstructed lines present a softer and smoother outline. Thickness is 10.7mm.

The bezel is tightly fixed by 5 screws, and the lug details and H-shaped bracelet adopt a new, more ergonomic design to fit the wrist more comfortably.

The most special thing about the new work is that the dial reproduces the "grid" pattern used on the original Ingenieur SL. During production, it is necessary to stamp the iron dial base to form an intaglio pattern and then galvanize it. The pattern consists of thin lines perpendicular to each other, which is stamped on a soft iron blank and then processed by an electroplating process. The pattern covers the entire inner area of the dial, while the outer area of the dial surrounding the minute scale remains smooth. The proportions of the IWC logo and its position on the dial have been carefully adjusted to ensure that it is closely aligned with the "grid" pattern. The hour markers coated with luminous material ensure that they are still legible at night.

The dial adopts a three-hand layout. The hour markers and second hand also return to the shape of the 1970s. The 3 o'clock is the calendar window and the 6 o'clock is the "INGENIEUR" logo.

The new original steel belt is molded, all structures are synchronously original, and its materials, workmanship, and wearing feel are 100% synchronously original.

The V7 factory still uses the new imported Swiss SW300 movement, which has the same excellent performance, long-term accuracy and no trouble of repair! V7 also provides a user-friendly version of the Seagull 2892 stable version, whose appearance details are the same as the Swiss version.

The perfect artifact from V7 Factory is now on the market, please appreciate it.

I love my V7F Mark XX with the Seagull ST1812. The 2892 clone. They like sticking this in their IWC reps so hopefully they do that here as well. It's a great movement.

Good taste
My IWC Mark XVIII e IWC XX are two of my daily watches.

regarding the 2892, I do not agree that it is so reliable, clone and even Swiss.
There are many reviews of charging and even power reserve problems, indeed. I myself upgraded my XVIII to a Swiss ETA, and although it is a reliable movement the power reserve is not its strong suit.

So I did some looking up. The IXDAO uses the PT5000, SW200, or ETA 2824.

And the gen uses the IWC caliber 32111 which is based on IWC caliber 32110.
Now the 32111 is exactly the 32110 with a larger barrel, by this the 120 hours.

I've found that the caliber 32110 has the same dimension specs etc with the ETA 2892-A2.

Now all the ETA 28xx movements are similar, with mainly the only difference in thickness and quality. I belive the 2892 is just a bit thinner than 2824. And I've read that people had success replacing both movements.
So what this means is that the IXDAO has the potential to accept dial and hands from either the gen or the soon to be released v7 rep.

I found this while researching the compatibilities.

EAT2824 ~ SW200 (basically almost a clone)
ETA2892 ~ SW300 (basically almost a clone)
You can switch a lot of stuff between these two. Then;

SW300 ~ Caliber 32110 (I think IWC uses SW since they don't want to deal with Swatch Group, ETA)
Caliber 32111 = Caliber 32110 with larger barrel

I hear this for the dirst time, do you have any sources? The ETA 2892 is basicly known for very reliable in my mind?

In many forums and even some YouTube watch channel, reference is made to problems very often with power reserve and winding (clones and Gen).
Perhaps these are movements that require overhauling/oiling
