Just received my first rep from Li at Jtime. Pulled the trigger on a V7 factory IWC MK XX in blue with the 2892. I’ll just cut to the chase and say when I look down at it on my wrist I honestly feel like I’ve just spent 5K at an IWC boutique. I have been hesitant to buy a rep for fear of being disappointed but this is actually incredibly impressive. The quality is 10/10 and best of all it has the jewel like quality and sparkle of the gen and not flat or dull. I don’t know if they have updated anything but the hands a lume plots are a clean white and match the numbers. Even the strap is worthwhile. So if you’ve been on the fence about purchasing on of these do yourself a favor and get one. You won’t be disappointed.

Have the same watch and the same feelings. Solid NWBIG piece that I don't plan on getting rid of.

Do you find that photos don’t do it any real justice? It’s so much better in the flesh.

I have the ZF, it’s just as good. Not many differences between the two. I have v7f for the mark 18 heritage.

In my opinion, case shape and polish is better on ZF. Crystal and AR is better on v7f. Dial lettering is slightly better on ZF (zf looks more raised). Strap is better on v7f. Rotor is quieter on v7f.

For flaws:

Both factories don’t have a perfect case, and the crown is not perfect on either.

Overall, it’s NWBIG.

I have mine on a brown shell cordovan.

I love the look of my ZF but the rotor is loud. Even after I silenced, it can still be "felt". But the look of the watch is much better than the V7F IMO.

I removed my rotor. You can also swap with a sw300, that will be quieter.

Good point, swapping for a Sellita is worth the job for anyone considering it as a keeper 👍
I was looking at doing an ETA swap as I found one at a reasonable price but I they come in 2 different stem heights and I’m at a loss of which one. There are a few SW300’s floating around that may be a preferable option.

Yeah my mark 18 heritage by v7f isn't loud either. Only my mark xx by ZF is loud.

Different movements as far as I know. V7F is 2824 and ZF's Mark XX is a Miyota 9015 which is known to have a pretty loud rotor.

Can confirm, had to silence my ZF Mark XX's rotor and it still is louder than I would prefer. But better!

Is this possible if the ZF uses Miyota? The ETA-based movement used in the V7 have different hand pinion sizes, so presumably would need to get a new hand set in order to change the movement.

The ZF 100% uses the Miyota 9015.
