Looks great, thanks for posting. Interested to see how these patina in a natural setting.

Isn't your's a KW? Strap looks like ZF with lighter stitching, but may just be the lighting...

It is KW version - the strap is thick as per gen.

the crown - it is probably not screwed in to the end so it "hangs" on spring vs threading position.

Mine arrived yesterday. First rep I've purchased in a rather long time. The quality is astounding. Well finished case, lume perfectly applied and fairly bright, hands not scratched (contrary to most reps I've owned over the years). I'm not an expert on the accuracy of this watch compared to the gen, but it appears close to me when I look at pictures. At the end of the day, I have a real bronze watch with a sapphire crystal and awesome build quality for under $400. Rep or gen, that's a killer deal in my opinion.

Same thoughts here, 1:1 or not, great quality bronze watch.
Mine is the KW version, one of my gunny straps was about 23mm x 23mm so I'm using that for now.
Might look into getting the gen nato strap somehow...
I just took it out of a ketchup bath.

Gen is actually CuAl8 which is not the typical CuSn8 found in most bronze watches.

Alu-Copper is actually a cheaper material compared to Tin-Copper.

I think the Rep uses the more readily available (and a touch more expensive) CuSN8 bronze, similar to the Gen PAM and Zenith Pilots.

The patination would be the biggest giveaway. Regular bronze will patina easier and have a darker brown reddish hue whilst alubronze would patina slower and it will look lighter, with an almost yellow goldish hue.

... so you have to do a lot of polishing owning a REP... and it is still difficult to judge the fotos.

This is a KW and I'd say it shines not that reddish.

Arrived today. First Impressions - Quality build, feels and looks much better in the hand than in pictures. Strap is not the best, feels plasticy to me, but what rep comes with a good strap anyways??

I'll post a review and more pics later, but here's a quick snapshot...
