I know question isn’t addressed to me but please allow me to share my thoughts. I saw both the gen and the modded rep in person on separate occasions and both looked impressive visually on the wrist. Of course the rep will not be as refined or heavy as the gen but visually both were stunning in person. If you’re after a watch with combining the elegance of gold with the sportiness of carbon accents and the masculine angular lines of the watch, then you cannot go wrong. This is one of the few reps I will don as a novelty watch and as an eye candy. The flaws are subtle against the overall visual aesthetics of the watch. Only thing I will change is the datewheel. The old noob ROO datewheel actually works well since the JPM uses the caliber 2226 or 2326 and the font works well for this series and the Ruben Barrichello ones.

Ooooh nice datewheel. Is that correct per calibre? Like the one legend suggested?
DWs are a tricky aspect on modded and franken APs. Most of the modded or frankens ones I’ve seen here do not have accurate date fonts, or the wrong dw font types.
It’s not a matter of simply installing Mikey dw or double AR crystals on everything and calling it good. The cal. 2226 or 2326 which the JPM or Ruben Barrichello series use have different datewheel fonts than the 3126 series ones. Likewise the modern 26470 ROOs use different fonts than the G/H series ones. The old noob ROO datewheels are actually more suitable and accurate for models like the RB2 and JPM. The JF and Mikey ones look plain wrong on these specific examples.
