If McCain has the lead here then the poll is not accurate. Unless of course the polls that are ont TV are wrong. At least the ones on CNN. Of course then we'd have to believe that CNN distorts their polls and Fox does the same. And of course Zogby and Gallup we know are objective and never show bias right?

Don't get me wrong. I'm not party aligned. But it's common sense. It's factual. One side got the "popular vote" and lost. The electoral college was put into practice because the great founders of our country (rich slave owning white males) surmised that the "average man" does not know enough about politics to have his vote counted. So electorate decides for us who they want to vote for.

No one can deny this any any level. So if anyone would like to respond directly or quote what I have put on here. Please address the subject with something of substance, preferably with some facts.

Again, I'm not a democrat or a republican. I am just disenchanted with the democratic process of this country. (And don't get me started on our glorious system of free market capitalism).

I just recently had this conversation with one of my "pinko" friends. He knows who he is! I think that pretty much everyone has had their fill of our political system. What we need is a genuine 3rd party. Not these nut job parties we see at every election like the communists and the green party. I would love to see this and term limits for these piece of shit career scumbags like Ted Kennedy. These are the people that have divided our country up and bought and sold us. I no longer vote for the best man for the job, I feel as if I am voting for the lesser of two evils. I vote my job and about 3 issues. Unfortunately one of the candidates is polar opposite on each point in this election for me, so my choice is clear.

I absolutely agree brtelec. I also think the status of the economy, issues that we as individuals care about, regardless of what they may be, are bigger than the election of a president.

We are divided on so many levels. Bi-partisanship has taken it's toll on america.
