Updated PPF Nautilus 5711 V4 is here !!!

I'm somehow not sure about the 5711. On the one hand it's a stunning watch and it's amazing what you get for the money, but I wear it pretty rarely as I always have the value of the gen in the back of my head and somehow can't really pull it off. I thought I wouldn't care, but the truth is I do. So it might be up for sale soon.:/
But at least I tried it.

Modding that crown is minimally to achieve the closest to gen like of 5711.

Alternatively wear it on your right wrist n the sleeve will be able to “cover” the obvious for the trained eyes only.

my thought also, the movement ẻngraved could be better then a pf ppf hybrid mod

It isn't so much visible that protruding ! It's a 5711 and not 5712 (yes there is a very big difference in the crown and case too) and in many of GEN of last years the crown it's very protruding too! And it's well screwed !

It mostly sounds like you are trying to convince yourself

No, the crown is not the same on a PPF and a gen, and yes, you can tell.

On your picture above there are imo the other tells that are move obvious, the fat bezel, thickness of the case and the lack of beveled edges.

The v4 is a good looking watch otb, but it needs a lot of work to look like a gen. Wear the watch for what it is

I don't need convince myself... already have the gen too and are really identical , only few micron and it's very difficult see it without lens . look my post of few days ago

And if you have a gen to compare it to, the differences should be obvious

Only side by side you can see the differences, really really little and only us can see it because we know where see !

but trust me, by real, wearing ... nobody can imagine really.
Off course we are maniac and want fix all this parts.. but for what or who? for us ! Ok... for us is a right answer ))

thickness case absolutely same , if 1 micron ... sorry I don't have how measure it and see it
