I’m undecided if ordering ARF 116610 3135 V3 or ZZF 116610 3135 V2.

By no means a scientific representation but hope this gives you a practical idea of the difference (ie negligible)

Also please comment on the bezel action feel and sound compared to your gen. Beautiful Hulk BTW

dc2_bb6_cu2 actually those photos highlight the lug differences rather than dispel them as negligible, haha.. While most people can't tell the truth, it's not most people that we are trying to convince. It's the more hardcore watch geeks and most of all, ourselves that we need to make believe that there's negligible difference.

Lol point taken. Just saying, when you have to get out a caliper to “see” the difference, it’s negligible in my book. And again, difference is realized when you have them side by side. Viewed in isolation difference is irrelevant. Of course this is all IMO and IME.

Bezel action is close, 8/10 for this sample.
Gen has 10-15% more resistance, and a bit of a louder click, although the ARF matches the “timbre” of the click closely if that makes any sense.
On this sample I will say the bezel is either warped or needs to be cleaned. It has more resistance at opposing 180-degree points (around 11:00 and 5:00).
The insert is also close enough for me, this seems to have less of a painted look and more metallic, as you can see the shade of silver closely matched the hulk insert.
As you can also see they’ve also fixed the “50” misalignment issue. The numbers are more bold on ARF, but it takes side by side or loupe comparison to notice a difference.
Very happy with this watch OOTB.

The ARF looks Gen in finish next to a Gen, none of the other reps do, Ive had them all!
I said the exact same in the past when comparing with my friends gen, that the case shape differences are hard to see in real life, negligible for sure. unless you know that one is a rep And there is ment to be a difference and sit and study both next to eachother or sit one watch on top of the other. For me the main tell now on a first look (other then crap rep cyclops) is the ARF lume, it’s like 3 shades lighter than gen in normal lighting, ultra white lume in daylight.

what bothers me is the how much the 15-25-35-45... bezel markers love to make out with the glass
ARF certainly knows how to build a solid submariner.
The build quality is second to none. The way it feels on the wrist is fantastic. Swap the DW and crystal (and dial if the white lume bothers you) and you have a fantastic gen-like watch for 1/10th of the price
