C'est rien c'est l'âge mon Pierre
A new Chopard Mille Migilia GT Xl Chrono to mark the 80th anniversary of this legendary race. This year, Chopard is presenting the new "Mille Miglia GT XL Chrono", a chronograph with integrated pushers. Powerful, distinctive and resolutely contemporary, it is embodying a blend of cutting-edge technology and sophisticated aesthetics. Clearly determined to stay ahead of the competition, it houses a mechanical self-winding chronograph movement that is chronometer-certified by the COSC.
The first model produced in a limited edition features a slate-coloured dial which immediately evokes some of the prestigious speed machines that have made their mark on the history of the "Mille Miglia". Its oversized 6 and 12 o'clock Arabic numerals transferred beneath the sapphire crystal - a first for the collection - give it an exclusive touch, while its aerodynamic pushers reinforce its sporting nature. The original chronograph counters arranged on two dial levels and its tachometric scale engraved on the bezel make this a highly contemporary and particularly legible time-measuring instrument. Produced in limited editions of 2007 in steel (ref. 16/8489) and 500 in 18-carat rose gold (ref. 16/1268), this model houses a self-winding movement chronometer-certified by the COSC. The generous 44mm-diameter case is water-resistant to 100 metres and enhanced by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment, a screw-locked crown and a back stamped with the "Mille Miglia" route.
A "Mille Miglia GT XL Chrono" 2007 is also available in a black dial version featuring oversized numerals with Superluminova coating (ref. 16/8459). This model is distinguished by a transparent sapphire crystal case-back providing a clear view of the self-winding chronograph movement chronometer certified by the COSC. A delight for devotees of fine mechanical engineering
