Really great info here. It will be helpful when I swap my crystal. What is the yellow tool used to remove the bezel assembly?

Great tutorial

Any helpful tips are cleaning the dial and inside crystal, it's a nightmare trying to keep the dust off.

Old thread... But is it the same method used to remove Noob bezel? Pry up from corners?

Yep. I start by sliding a Stanley knife blade under the bezel at 4 with a thick bit of acetate protecting the case to loosen it up. I then use a bezel removal tool and gently ease it off. Probably not text book but it works every time. Stay away from the pearl as the triangle can crack very easily.

How is this with a Noob V1? I don't find any advice via google or in this forum.
All I know is the V1 bezel is a different construction.
Can anyone help?

Resurrection of an old but valuable thread.

I need advice on removing and refitting the Crystal on my V6S.

I've disassembled the movement and I've just the casing left.

My questions.

1. Do I just push from the back to pop the Crystal out? If so how much pressure? I've tried with medium pressure but it's not budged.

2. When I reset the Crystal, can I do this without disassembling the gasket? I just want to pop the Crystal out, clean, then back in.

3. Can I do this without a press?

Hi,

I just did the same thing yesterday. The advantage of a press is that you can apply pressure smooth and evenly. However IMHO it is also possible to build a similar setup with household tools.
If you apply the pressure gradually you might be able to push out the crystal still stuck to the plastic gasket and the outer metal gasket. In this case you can reinstall the crystal/gaskets later on as one single piece. Just be careful not to mess up the rim of the plastic gasket when pushing it over the rehaut. Reinstall slowly and evenly and make sure you don't push the crystal+gaskets onto the rehaut at an angle.

Just my two cents as a layman

Guys, what is the correct diameter of a 116610 gasket? I found the suggested thickness, but I'm in doubt for the diameter (I think it's a 29.5mm but if someone can confirm I'd be grate.
Thanks!

- Remove the bezelinsert is an absolute must because you will need to press the bezel back on during assembling

i not good at english but i dont understan why you have to remove insert from bezel?
