Well.. I went down that path.. I had a BIvintage build me a 79090.. Vietnam case, Vietnam dial..etc..etc overall very nice, but its NOT a franken but MUCH better than the JK or ?? version JKF- cant remember the company...
To spot the gen it should be easy. IMHOP if u compare the GEN DATE WHEEL #5 to a REP #5... To my knowledge there has not been a PERFECT replica DATE WHEEL made for the 79090 with the nice SERIFs that a GEN has... LOOK at a picture of a GEN 79090 date of 5.. The "5" on a GEN DATE wheel has real interesting " SERIFS" around #5 where the corners (4 SERIFs I counted on #5 GEN),
SEE THIS RWI THREAD ON 79090 DW-- though they had a good SOLUTION for REP DW -- the #5 does not look GEN!!

On the 9411 its much easier because the 2784 has a real unique DW ... My 9411 I bought has a gen 2784 and boy its mechancial REFINED!!

ALso the BIvintage cases do need some mod work so the bezel move free, else its very hard and that has been a common complaint...
Prob cost you about 900$ to order 79090 shipped with a2836 and if they upgrade I am guessing to a SWISS ETA it would be +200...
500$ more you could prob get a perfect Franken 79090 from a modder off RWI..
good luck
