They're not properly vintage as such... They were the last of the T-Sub bracelets, basically a Rolex 93150, like you would get on a 90s Rolex Sub. They're solid not folded link, which is good, but still come with the correct folded end links, which is nice! Clasp is marked with the Tudor shield. I saw someone fit a 93250 with solid end links to a T-Sub once... shudder! I think they're pretty good value from the AD, considering what they go for on ebay, and being brand new, obviously considerably better condition than a rattly old Rolex 93150.

However, you can't beat a date matching bracelet so I do have a folded link 7836 (an option rarely taken) on one of my 9411 GENs, with the matching clasp year.
You are so right!! Wish I had a AD that would work with me but I would need to buy a GEN from a AD 1st.. lol.. I heard the AD prices are very fair vs FEEBAY for a vintage piece, however like u said the vintage piece may not be exact for that correct era..

Maybe that's what I need to do, get a decent Franken (already in the works) and if I love it, gen on the way. You're right, can't beat gen
If the franken is ever for sale, maybe I would be a potencial buyer:)

To me, a Franken is much more then just a replica.
Yes you could buy a genuine watch and wear it.
Been there...

A Franken you have to build it, search the parts, modifying parts, breaking parts! It 's just so much more fun to look at your watch and think damn I made a nice watch 😁

Well my custom build arrived a few weeks ago and I should have got the bracelet at the same time, my bad. Ended up getting a bracelet from raffles which turned up and overall does the job, looks the part.

My only issue is the end links. Rattle and all over the place, a simple fix I'm sure. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

as the endlinks seem a bit short, bending them open to follow the case contour wont be an option. only thing i can think of is bending them shut to get rid of the rattling.
did you end up going bivintage?

They're definitely too small, but I think that's the original issue with my order. I bought from Raffles directly, maybe the endlinks are just completely wrong

From what i understand Raffles will give you fitting endlinks if requested. I Thing i read in the 1016 thread that you should Always point out for what build the bracelet is used for that reason

What end links are you using? If you are using the 455 then that is your problem.
The 580 from Raffles fits perfect without any rattling noise.
100% correct. 580 links are sitting perfect on 4 digits subs.
