Tudor Black Bay GMT Baselworld 2018

I'm in for one at Retail from my AD but I agree used well worth getting Gen shouldn't be a premium a la Rolex Steel ( we hope lol )
so I had a chat with the tudor AD about the GMT. He told me several things:
1. there will be no more complimentary straps from tudor. You have to buy it separately. that's it.
2. the register of your tudor serial number and your name will be sent to Rolex to be on their ownership system. before it was retained by tudor.
3. Tudor and Rolex are making it much harder for you to remain their customers if you sell your watches. What he said is that when you buy rolex or tudor, your information will be held by Rolex and they will be basically refusing to sell to you if you sell your previous purchases. You are absolutely free to do what you want with your watch, but don't expect to be able to get on a list and actually get a sports steel rolex if you bought and sold a GMT you bought from them.

Picked mine up today. My AD does not retain warranty cards but they will only deal with good customers on these and rarer Rolex models.
Also had chance to try on the new GMT Pepsi!
Nice watch but the red on the ceramic is pinky whereas the Tudor is a perfect shade of red and the blue is almost black in certain lights.

Not long to be honest and if I had not called in to the dealer yesterday morning I may not have got it. They were about to start ringing the names on the list and the first two to come and buy got it. They brought the bracelet version out to show me which is what I wanted anyway and that was that. Not sure what strap the other watch had. They did only have 2 and didn’t know when more stock would arrive.
Surprisingly they have received more Pepsi Gmt’s! 5!

Great nice pick up. Love the new Tudor GMT. Im no 1 on the AD´s waiting list but they will not release the watch until July

My dealer told me they did not do that and there is no directive from Rolex saying you must do it but they were aware some dealers are now doing this but it is not something they are comfortable about under the sale of goods and giving of a warranty.

picked it up today. Quite a heafty watch. one thing - I think tthey could have made the hour round markers a tiny bit bigger....Totally love it!

man, I wish the crystals on the reps were as good as these. From that angle the rep crystal would be white along the edge, not that cool distorted clear like yours.
