OK
I was not going to post about this but i feel i really have to.
You see last week I purchased a Planet Ocean from Trevor. I paid for it fast and then he emails me three photos of the watch I am to get. He then email me a tracking number.
I follow that number until a package gets to me but here is the strang kicker, ready???
I get a long cardboard box of the oddest shape. I quickly open and see a golf club, a driver!!!!
Now I am puzzled a little. Why use a gold club to smuggle the watch in??? So, I look into this a little more: I read the EMS slip and it says lots of Chinese googegligoo and then I discern the word TOY.... Ok , fair enough as I know many dealers resort to this watch inside the toy thing.
So, in believing that , I look first inside the box and NO watch. Then I see a bubble wrapped Allen key tool that will help me do this: open the bottom of the driver where I pretty knew was hollow and I was positive the watch was inside that.
So, i unscrew the three screws, take off the bottom plate and what do I see????
NO WATCH....
Ok so, the whole thing was a waste of time: no watch anywhere.
So, I am sad and email Trevor. I explain to him this strange occurence and then waited three complete days before a reply. He finally replies today with the statement that he finds this very strange and claims he never ships golf clubs, and he says the slip should say "TOY" (as it did anyways).
Then he says : I dont know what happened. Ship the golf club back, contact EMS and I will then mail you another watch.
But I scratch my head: why should I bother with the extra money and time to ship back a glof club??? There is NO watch to ship back??? What possible reason does he have to need a cheap ass "golf club" back???? That will not prove wether I ever received a watch or not??
The tracking number he gave me worked and it was on the box with the golf club. He says it is EMS ' fault so I should contact EMS to let them know they sent me the wrong package. Well, EMS from china hands all their parcels and courrier over to the government operated postal service CANADA POST so at this point, i would not be dealing with EMS directly but rather a third party....Odds are they will know nothing and will not be able to help me....
What should I do now? I have no watch, out $200 and a stupid sawed off golf club??
PLease advise.
Luke
