All makers know the material used on their watches, especially when it is that expensive.
I think it is ok to say 904L when only some small parts are made of 316L because you need to buy another lot of metal for them, it is not cost efficient to do so.
But calling a full 316L a 904L watch? And selling at 904L price? I am not sure...
