Hot take, I think the EWE/EWF version of this watch is the best value.

TW is better overall but has a fucking nasty habit of stripping screws.

Clean it will be an expensive model but probably the best if they come out with it (also their first titanium offering!). EWE offers the best value for this watch. Pictures below.

I want one with a better movement - The EWF version has very rough winding.

Yes, it's all preference. If this 42mm is your daily then EWE may not be for you. But for people like me who have 35+ watches and just want to try a value based watch that I might only wear once or twice a month then it's perfect for fun. EWE is a full 35% cheaper than the TW+.

Also there are old and new EWEs. If you get one look at date font.

Damn it! Oddly I have so many watches I really thought I was done, there isn't anything that I desire that I don't already have. I was holding out for a decent factory Ti YM. Looks like there is another purchase coming up. It's a hard life :D

On one hand, I hope the product produced by Clean will be a good version, but on the other hand, I don't want to set my expectations too high. We'll see what kind of product we will encounter—will the case perhaps be titanium? And what about the mechanism? I'm curious about your expectations in terms of quality.

Case and bracelet material might be a concern but mechanism is exactly the same as every other Yatch Máster or Sub clean produces.

I am not aware of any other Clean rep made of titanium yet, so it's going to be interesting to see if they get the finishing right on the first try. I guess they wouldn't release this watch, if they weren't sure that they can deliver a good quality, though. All their recent releases have been top notch, like the 126500 that they released long before all other factories.

In this case, a new chain of waiting will unfold step by step. First, we'll wait to see if they will produce it and whether they will include this model in their product lineup. Then, we’ll wait for answers to questions like, "How will the quality be?" and "What will the end result be?" I haven’t waited this long for something in a while. Leaving the Chinese New Year aside, when do you think users will get their hands on the first products? In other words, when will we start getting answers to our questions?

Probably not till after March - 2 years after retail release.

CF doesn't even have the prototype available yet. Whether they will go ahead with the actual production is questionable.

The problem with this particular model is the fact the GEN is so scarce. When these hit the market properly the demand for the REP will go up.

Perhaps I’m not the majority but the fact the GEN is harder to get than a panda puts me off getting the rep. Anyone who knows anything will ask how on earth you have one?!?

I’m sure Clean will make it; but given Rolex can’t even fulfil orders I don’t see them rushing.
