Hi Bignasty,

The pictures in the very first post have been deleted or moved.

Can you please be kind enough to re-upload the pictures possibly to a more permanent location or attach them inline with the thread.

Thanks for the help.

Just to avoid misunderstanding, could you please arrow-mark the one not to be touched?

question .

out of those 2 gtxl 7750 28800 which one is the most reliable/recent ?
one hasnot got a regulator and has got metal lugs instead of jewels ( and blue screws indentation are not blue )

one has got a regulator and jewels ( and blue screws are fully blue )

i am confused as i read on this forum that the metal lugs will erode quicker than jewels ( so 7750 with reg and jewels= better )
but someone on this thread said that the one with the reg is older ...

I agree, I'm confused too! This is my RM LeMans delivered today, and I think it is a pretty newly developed replica. But it has the adjuster.
It also has the double 12 O'clock datewheels so I am wondering whether, as Luthier noted in his movements for noobies thread, this is actually a Shanghai 3LZF12...

Just wondering if anyone knows where I can view all three photos that were referenced in the original post? Thanks in advance!

This thread is crap now, and should be taken down.

The Valjoux 7750 was heavily used by Breitling and Breitling gets chronometer certification on most of their watches. They wouldn't used them in their watches if this as the case. The A7750 at high beat is a decent movement. A bit thick by conventional standards in the 21st century, but the Valjoux 7750 isn't under patent and can be reproduced legally.
