thanks, I ask you too: what should I do?Magnetism usually makes the watch go faster, quite often significantly faster. Yours is loosing time. And the beat error should be adressed, too.

ok. I followed the KJ2020 instructions to the letter. I wound up the watch, moved the small hand between + and -, moved the racket to the left by maybe half a millimeter as shown in the photoRead again what KJ2020 wrote above and follow the instructions.
do you mean the "rate" should read +/- 30 seconds?Adjust it further and see if you can get it close ( + / - 30 second or less). You lose nothing by trying since the only other option would be to send it out to a watchsmith.
You should fix the beat error. Adjust the beat corrector arm (single blue dot) to bring that 5.1ms number to < 0.5ms. Then readjust the s/d arm to get it close to zero.
Start by addressing the beat error.

I'm very scared to touch the python. I heard that if you move it wrong the watch stops. Is it true?Start by addressing the beat error.

Lol, I've adjusted hundreds of beat corrector arms and never ruined a balance doing so. Just carefully nudge it like you've been doing with the s/d arm and measure the performance again. The beat corrector arm is there for this very purpose.I'm very scared to touch the python. I heard that if you move it wrong the watch stops. Is it true?
Ok I'm going to dive in. Should I move it towards the racket or towards the bridge?Lol, I've adjusted hundreds of beat corrector arms and never ruined a balance doing so. it seems like the beat is ok. now it runs too fast, i guess i will have to move the racket towards the python to adjust s/d. right?Usually tightening the hairspring coil will reduce beat error, so you could first nudge it toward the micro adjustment lever. But you will need multiple adjustments so it really doesn't matter. You can take your pick and see if it goes up or down.
What happened to the BPH? It should be 28800 like on every previous reading you've taken.
sorry, maybe I moved my phone while reading. This is the last one. What do you think? What happened to the BPH? It should be 28800 like on every previous reading you've taken.
@Rx4Time is that something you set manually with this app or does it automatically register what it's actually reading?
Take it and be ecstatic - I dub thee watchsmith apprentice! Nice work!
