The 1292 comes with a leather strap. 24mm at the lugs tapering to 18 mm. Standard length ought to be 125/75Hi. Could some gives me the measures of the Pam 1292 bracelet, please ?
These are automatic models, which means, you can wind them manually but they also have a rotor which "winds" the watch while you move it. But of course you have to set time and date via the crown. It´s not a battery watch, it´s a mechanical watch.Might be a dumb question, but do these wind manually like other Panerai watches? I’m assuming I’d need to pull the crown to set everything first.
This is a standard P.9000 clone from VSF, only labeled P.900.Anyone know what the movement on these is?
Ok. Thank you. I’ve had other mechanical watches that weren’t automatic, so they’d need to be reset regularly after the power reserve was depleted. I’ll make sure to leave this on the winder. These are automatic models, which means, you can wind them manually but they also have a rotor which "winds" the watch while you move it. So I got the 1292. I can’t figure out how to set the date independently. I tried the crown in different positions, but I felt like I was going to break stuff. These are automatic models, which means, you can wind them manually but they also have a rotor which "winds" the watch while you move it. Ok. I will take note of this when adjusting in the future. So I am assuming that the crown position where the hours hand was moving, but the minutes hand was just clicking like it was stuck is where this would need to be.Hello!
On the P.9000 clone from VSF the date is set the same way as on many other gen models of Panerai, using an independent hour hand. You set the hour hand to the jumping position and wind 2 full turns (24 hours), which changes the date by 1 day forward. Not fast, but fortunately, it also works backwards. For these models Radiomir, gen uses P.900, there the date setting is classic, from the second position, like on 7750, for example, but alas, here the functions of GEN and REP are different. I hope I was able to explain it clearly.
Ok. I will look into the GMT setting as I’ve never owned one. Thank you. There's no quickset date. It works like a GMT you need to jump the hours forward.
Well thats how the majority of GMT watches work.Ok. I will take note of this when adjusting in the future. So I am assuming that the crown position where the hours hand was moving, but the minutes hand was just clicking like it was stuck is where this would need to be.
I was just worried that I had it stuck in some weird position because I’ve never seen or heard a watch do that. I didn’t want to break something.
Why did you change your mind?was thinking of getting the green dial 1386, but decided against it after reading the replies in this thread, thanks guys
