You cant call it superior to a vr3135 yet. It needs more time out on the field.

I actually have inspected the movement. The parts are better quality than vr. Also it takes gen balance wheel and bridge without any modification. It does need gen reversing wheels but that's minor. Once overhauled the movement will run better than a serviced/upgraded vr3135.

And I am going to assume you're yet another ZF shill? I have had enough experience with vr3135s if that's what you are getting at. They are much better than SA3135s, but all the items I listed above makes VS a notch above than VR. Take it for what it's worth to ya.

People here own both, including gens. I had both at one point and compared it to my gens in person and decided to go with VSF bcz the obese crown guards on the ZF were a deal breaker. ZF finish is very rough to touch. Also VSF movement, which wasn't covered in this comparison, easily compensates for some of the areas where it lacks...

Essentially you don't own both. You own a vs3235 and a vr3135 which are different movements, in almost everything. If you open up the vsf you will see how better finish the movement is even tho is a 3235
