They are different models and best is subjective. Which looks better to you?

In terms of the basic differences, 12 vs 11 respectively:
  • 41mm vs 40mm case size
  • slimmer lugs
  • slightly wider bracelet
  • slightly smaller crown guards
  • updated movement (theoretical 70 hour power reserve vs 48 hours)
I also think the AR is different on the 12 I.e. Full AR applied to bottom of crystal, where as this is only applied behind the cyclops on the 11 (116610 which has date).

There are plenty of detailed comparison threads in this Rolex forum.

In terms of factory VSF or Clean. Each have their own pros and cons. There is no perfect rep.
Is VSF k25 batch 114060 the best version available right now or the BK ARF?

Intime06 have 124060 VSF. I didn't think it was possible to get hold of them anymore?

What's the best bracelet for the 41mm 12series at present? With Well Defined Deep SEL.
I have the 1LQ not sure if it was the first release. It has shallow SEL.
Anybody please help recommend a TD who can source me just the bracelet upgrade.
Thank you.
I’m not an expert or anything, but what someone else said was right. The gens aren’t deep like the 11 (previous rendition of the sub date). I’ve had good luck on DHGate(I know people here don’t like that place) with mid range models like BP. I wouldn’t buy a high end model there unless you know a good seller. The BP’s I’ve purchased have Green Maker’s bracelet which fits well. It’s deeper as you seem to want. It’s the X2W clasp with corresponding SELS.

I’ve got a forum members VSF126610LN here for refinishing. It’s a recent Q66/3VV watch.

This VSF is not finished to the same standard of the original VSF watches that we were all getting excited about last year.

The watch is more or less the same but it’s not as refined as they used to be. In particular the bracelet sides and case sides have sharp burrs that they used to remove on the original watches.

This is the 2nd instance I’ve come across, now confirmed to be both the recent 11661X and 12661X VSF’s.

Luckily, I have this in hand. I have just refinished this one for a forum member and it feels the way it should now, soft and supple like a Rolex.

Man that’s disheartening to hear. Been waiting 40 days for my 116, and now I have to deal with worse quality than expected. Bummer

Beautiful piece, can I ask what's the bracelet code on yours 1LQ or 3VV? Or is the bracelet from another factory already?
Any other mods changes you made with your vsf 12series?
Thanks

Picked up my VSF 126610LN from @StreetFighter today, first and foremost I’d like to say total gent, very welcoming and all round “good dude” showed me around some of his nice reps and VERY nice gen pieces.
I initially received my watch from @CTime a couple weeks ago and although blown away with its quality I found it’s finish a little on the sharp side…step in @StreetFighter I dropped the watch off to him Friday for his magical finishing methods and picked up today, could not be happier it’s case feels great and the bracelet is buttery smooth feeling with the overly sharp edges gone. I could not recommend this enough to anyone wanting to take their beloved rep to a new standard.

I wonder if the VSF 124060's coming out now have the same level of finishing as the well-liked 114060's from last year.

It is not a true 3230 movement. VSF just drop the DD3235 into their 124060 ie. still 2 pulling positions at the crown
