I posted this on the main Rolex forum but figured more folks that could give me an answer may see it here.

I'm planning to pull the trigger on a Hulk Submariner 116610 LV by VSF but I can't find any info on how big the strap adjusts to. I searched this forum, other forums, Reddit, I even went to the gen website, looked at owners manuals and user guides. No luck. Maybe I'm dumb and just missing it. My wrist measures 21-22mm. Watches generally fit but it's not uncommon for me to have to buy an extra link or two for some watches. Does anyone know, or have one they could measure for me? I feel like trying to find matching links after the fact would be a huge PITA.

What I'm also interested to find out is if stocks of the 114060 will still be produced by VSD. And, if so, what incremental improvements it will come with.

Hi guys! I'm new here, but I've been reading topics for a long time)
I thought about buying my first "Rolex".
1. Do I understand correctly that at the moment the best choice would be vsf?
2. But I read that VS3235 often has breakdowns. Is that true? I just want to buy a watch and wear it for many years without any modifications and interventions
3. Is it true that vsf has an engraving "rolexrolexrolexrolex..." not very good quality compared to gen?
4. What is the best TD in your opinion? I have never encountered this)

Once factories start making newer models, they tend to stop making the older models. This applies to everything, including Rolex.

Whatever models are available will be NOS (New Old Stock), until they're all sold out. It's in your best interest to get whatever you're looking for while you can (as new) or buy later as used.

Kermit's genuine movement is the newer of the two with a longer power reserve and other improvements, the movement in the genuine Hulk dates back to 1988.

Theoretically the new movement in the Kermit would be better in terms of accuracy, not to mention the 30+ additional hour power reserve (roughly ~70 if I recall compared to the ~40 in the old movement). I have a genuine 116610LN and it's a good watch and the movement is solid, but sometimes I wish it had that longer power reserve of the newer Subs

Actuality is a different situation. The new 32xx movements have been plagued with issues, which are reported and documented all over the internet. Rolex offers a 5 year warranty to fix any and all defects. Rep makers do not.

I prefer the rock solid, time and true tested, workhorse 31xx movement. Plus I prefer the 11 series maxi case.

Rolex actually ain't fixing the new 32xx movements once they start to loose time they just offer to service them for free under warranty (who wants to service their brand new watch?). And after service its again game of luck wether they start loosing time or not after a while. Many in the gen world are avoiding the watches with the new 32xx movements if you read around.

As far as I know the gen 32xx issue of starting to loose time has not plagued the rep 32xx movements which still seem to be running on spec even after a while.

As long as you can swap gen parts inside VS3135 and VS3235 movements I believe these are two very reliable/long lasting rep movements
