I must be Uber unlucky . I finally have the money (don’t get much spare ) to get a 114060 which I’ve been wanting for over a year and it appears the factory is out of movements ? Any of you seasoned collectors/ buyers know how long it will be until I can get one . I know I’ve waited ages so a little longer won’t matter but wouldn’t mind knowing if it’s weeks or months ,as I might look at a 116610LN instead or a 12 .

@GrandmasterChime Just removing the extra cheese for something milder. My watch looks good and still feels very plush with coloured metals afterwards, honestly. Good fun.

I’ll need to get a better look at it in daylight, but it’s a good bit brighter than it was. It’s wearable now.
I’m not sure my cloths were the best thing, I have one with red rouge, a cape cod and brasso, I used the lot. I’ll try a Silvo cloth tomorrow.
I’m pleased though. Maybe it is just taking the plating off but it’s a good bit better. I was going to send this away for plating but may not need to now.
Here is next to gen yellow gold… no filter, artificial light.

Daylight verdict: much better, wearable, still a little off but much better.
I think I went through the plate too much in places, maybe I was too aggressive. Silvio wadding may work better than what I used.
I may still have this done properly but I’m pleased it’s a watch I can wear now..
